Social Media Buyer

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 months initially - likely extended
Rate: £300 per day (Inside IR35)

My Client is looking for an experienced Social Media Buyer to join the Content Studio team responsible for crafting our story with our most influential strategic audiences through compelling social content. This role will be focused on planning and executing paid social campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other platforms.

The ideal candidate has a passion for social media, technology and people. This person should have experience running paid campaigns for national or global brands in an agency or client-side environment. The candidate must be an expert on ad buying on all major social platforms with emphasis on Ads Manager. In addition, the candidate should have experience managing budgets, understanding creative best practices and reporting and performance analysis. The ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional partners is also critical.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, build and execute paid social campaigns to achieve various goals/objectives
  • Inform creative strategy to secure the most effective ads possible
  • Analyze performance data to formulate insights, recommendations and optimizations
  • Manage relationships with multiple internal stakeholders and partners
  • Project management (organize meetings, communicate updates, track timelines, etc)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ Years experience in executing paid social media campaigns
  • Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • Advanced knowledge of ad buying on social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X) with emphasis on Meta Ads Manager
  • Experience working in a highly cross-functional and virtual-based environment
