SEO Manager - Part Time (1 day (7 hours) per week - any day that suits)
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Remote
Duration: 3 months initially
Rate: £425 per day (Inside IR35)

My Client are looking for an SEO contactor to join their marketing team and support their investments and pensions business. As an SEO Manager, you will play a pivotal role in optimising online presence to improve organic search visibility and drive traffic to the website.

Key responsibilities include

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies: Create and implement SEO strategies to increase organic search rankings, improve website visibility, and drive qualified traffic.
  • Keyword research and optimisation: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify valuable opportunities. Optimise website content, including meta tags, headers, and on-page elements, to improve keyword relevancy and organic search performance.
  • Technical SEO optimisation: Collaborate with web developer, digital and content teams to ensure the website is technically optimised for search engines. Implement technical SEO best practices, including site speed optimisation, mobile optimisation, structured data markup, and XML sitemap management.
  • SEO content strategy: Work closely with in-house content creators to develop and implement an SEO-driven content strategy. Provide guidance on keyword targeting, content optimisation, and link building opportunities.
  • Website analysis and reporting: Monitor website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms.


Required skills

  • Proven experience as an SEO Manager or similar role, preferably working directly for a financial services brand
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and best practices.
  • Proficient in SEO tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or similar platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of keyword research, on-page optimisation, technical SEO, and link building strategies.
  • Experience with website analysis and reporting, including the ability to draw insights and make data-driven recommendations.
