Job description

We are currently looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join a leading tech platform dedicated to homeowners, providing expert advice and support for every aspect of home investment projects.
Here's what you'll be focusing on:
  • Elevating product delivery by prioritising the developer experience.
  • Designing and implementing user-friendly tooling and tech stacks to simplify processes, minimise cognitive load, and address developers needs and challenges effectively.
  • Guiding the evolution of the traditional platform team into a customer-centric product delivery unit dedicated to serving our internal tech customers.
  • Sustaining and optimising the benefits of cloud technologies through ongoing management and utilisation.
  • Continuously exploring and assessing new, innovative approaches to enhance our practices.
Skills we look for:
  • Passionate and experienced Platform Engineer or cloud-focused software developer
  • Strong background in engineering (preferably with Go, Ruby, or Typescript)
  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker), and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
  • Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions like DataDog & Linux/Unix
  • Dedicated to providing developers with optimal tools, processes, and environments for maximum productivity and business value.
