This hands-on technical position requires a comprehensive understanding of all components of a modern web application stack, encompassing front-end, database, networking, and systems-level knowledge. The ideal candidate will contribute inventive ideas related to performance, security, CI/CD, and system design to facilitate the development and implementation of technology solutions for the organization's products.

What you'll do:

  • Manage and automate the Software as a Service (SaaS) platform across multiple environments
  • Take ownership of reliability and uptime for all applications and services
  • Create and maintain system architecture, design, and automation
  • Support and enhance build and release processes through automation, utilizing a combination of processes and existing tools
  • Collaborate with development teams on software, system, and delivery pipeline optimization, identifying and addressing potential performance bottlenecks
  • Recommend improvements to the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) solution for the platform and logging infrastructures
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software and technical issues, participate in incident resolution, and conduct root cause analysis
  • Implement and automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation

What you'll bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in a SaaS production environment
  • Deep experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux administration
  • Expert level experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and hybrid cloud systems/designs
  • Strong proficiency with Terraform
  • Experience developing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or BitBucket Pipelines
  • Knowledge of best-practice security, performance, and networking techniques for high-traffic customer-facing systems
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic, CloudWatch, and similar
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including Microsoft SQL, Postgres, and MongoDB
