We're in search of a highly experienced DevOps Engineer to join their ranks. This role is instrumental in maintaining and advancing our cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring resilient and scalable solutions that align with their innovative biotech research.

What you'll do:

  • Crafting and deploying serverless architectures, prioritizing simplicity and efficiency.
  • Implementing cloud-based solutions, predominantly leveraging AWS, with a strong focus on security and compliance standards.
  • Developing infrastructure as code using tools such as Pulumi, Terraform, and AWS CloudFormation/CDK.
  • Coordinating workflows using Lambda, Step Functions, and AWS Batch, with expertise in microservices and blue-green deployment strategies.
  • Containerizing applications using Docker and overseeing CI/CD pipelines for streamlined development.
  • Implementing monitoring and observability tools, alongside robust security practices in coding and identity management.
  • Managing system configurations and maintaining RESTful APIs.
  • Scripting and automating tasks in Python, contributing to various DevOps endeavors.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in DevOps-related roles or software engineering, particularly in microservices, blue-green deployments, and chaos engineering.
  • Solid understanding of security practices, including secure coding, identity and access management, and compliance with standards like GDPR and HIPAA.
  • Proficiency in IaC, serverless architecture, workflow orchestration, and containerization.
  • Experience in establishing and managing CI/CD pipelines, emphasizing security and efficiency.
  • Knowledge in monitoring, observability, configuration management, RESTful API development, and Python programming.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with development, operations, and security teams.
