An innovative scale-up, newly established in Ireland, is searching for a Principal Engineer to join the team and help revolutionise the AI landscape.

Role Overview: The Principal Engineer will play a crucial role in leading the design, development, and deployment of AI models and solutions. This position involves mentoring a team of engineers, driving technical excellence, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture and development.
• Mentor and guide a team of engineers, as well as helping build the team further.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI initiatives with business goals.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in software engineering.
• Take ownership of platforms and work.

Requirements:

• Python Development experience, some work in Java would also be good.
• Kubernetes and Azure experience
• Previously held high level roles, 'Tech Lead', 'Principal Engineer'.
• Have mentored or built teams, don't need to have been a line manager, people manager.
• Desire to take ownership and autonomy of work.
