Technical Senior Oracle Analyst Developer

£500 - £560 inside IR35

London Hybrid

I'm currently recruiting for a highlyltechnical Senior Oracle Analyst Developer for an exciting opportunity working with a leading university working within their ERP technical team.

In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and supporting HR and Finance applications, centered around the Oracle eBusiness Suite HR and Financials Management modules, including Core HR, Payroll, HRSS, Learning Management, Compensation & Benefits Management, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, iProcurement, iExpenses, General Ledger, and Grants.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a cross-functional Agile product team to design, develop, and enhance software that improves user experiences and meets their needs.
  • Write and maintain clean, secure code and software configurations, adopting a test-driven approach to ensure the software is reusable and easy to maintain.
  • Engage in refactoring system integrations with modern interfaces as they advances their Cloud initiatives.
  • Work closely with EBS functional subject matter experts and liaise with ISD colleagues across Platforms, Database, and Network domains. Participate in knowledge transfers, peer review sessions, show-and-tells, and design playbacks to the broader business community.

Skills required:

  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Suite, preferably any R12 release.
  • Proficiency in Oracle RDBMS (including EBS HR and/or Financials schemas), PL/SQL, SQL (high level), and Java (J2EE low to mid level).
  • Familiarity with ITIL support processes, including release management.
  • Ability to supervise technical staff, communicate complex technical concepts clearly, and work effectively within a team.
  • Understanding of Oracle Workflow, AME, UMX, Oracle Application Framework (OAF), Application Development Framework (ADF), BI/XML Publisher, Web services (particularly REST), Internet SOA Gateway (ISG), and Oracle Forms is highly desirable
