Marketing Data and Reporting Analyst

£300 - 400 per day Inside IR35

My client is looking for a skilled Data and Reporting Analyst within Marketing to join them in this dynamic role where you'll be at the forefront of driving campaign success through data-driven insights.

As Data and Reporting Analyst, you'll be instrumental in designing and constructing campaign performance dashboards, managing reporting requirements, and automating marketing data processes. Your expertise will ensure the effectiveness of their marketing strategies, emphasising business outcomes and tangible ROI.

The ideal candidate will have a background in B2B Marketing and experience developing data ingestion pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and construct campaign performance dashboards using the Adverity tool to support key campaigns.
  • Manage a demand pipeline for new reporting requirements, prioritising high-value activities.
  • Develop data ingestion pipelines to automate marketing data centralisation for reporting.
  • Ensure the functionality of existing dashboards by monitoring data pipelines.
  • Collaborate in campaign planning to understand reporting requirements and data points.
  • Emphasise 'business outcome' based reporting, showcasing tangible ROI.
  • Maintain a monthly Marketing Scorecard report for executive review.
  • Assist markets in investigating data discrepancies/anomalies to enhance overall data quality.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive data and analytics experience with a strong grasp of reporting best practices.
  • Collaboration experience with BI analysts, data scientists, and data analysts.
  • A history of synthesising data from multiple sources to craft a compelling data story.
  • Practical knowledge of data quality in analytics projects, including challenges and mitigation techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate user/business needs into solution design.
  • Proactive self-starter capable of organising and driving work independently.
  • Familiarity with marketing and sales performance measurement, and marketing data (preferred but not essential).
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn about marketing analytics, B2B/relationship-based business models, and analytics product ownership.
