Head IAM Sailpoint Developer
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 8 months
Location / Remote Working: Basel / Remote

Pay Rate: 450 - 525 CHF per Day (Flexible)

Trust in Soda has formed a strategic partnership with a renowned global pharmaceutical company. They are actively seeking an accomplished Head IAM Developer who specializes in SailPoint technologies and possesses expertise in application onboarding. In this pivotal role, you will lead the organization's IAM development initiatives, overseeing the technical aspects of application development and onboarding onto the SailPoint platform. Your responsibilities will include providing guidance to the development team and ensuring the delivery of secure and efficient solutions.

Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership and Guidance:

  • Technical Leadership: Assume the role of a technical expert and leader within the SailPoint development team, ensuring strict adherence to architectural designs and industry best practices.
  • Design Collaboration: Actively participate in technical design discussions and reviews, striking a balance between feasibility and robust security considerations.
  • Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior developers, fostering skill enhancement within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) domain.
  • Innovation Integration: Stay informed about emerging technologies and methodologies, seamlessly incorporating innovative solutions into the development lifecycle.


Development Management and Delivery:

  • Translate Project Requirements: Transform project requirements into practical development tasks, assigning them based on individual skills and expertise.
  • Accurate Effort Estimation: Provide precise effort estimates, oversee project timelines, and ensure adherence to budget constraints.
  • Code Quality Assurance: Maintain high code quality by enforcing coding standards and conducting thorough code reviews.
  • CI/CD Leadership: Take charge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) initiatives, streamlining automated testing and efficient deployment processes.


Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaboration with IAM Architects and Project Managers: Collaborate closely with IAM architects and project managers to align development efforts with overarching project goals and technical architecture.
  • Effective Communication and Collaboration: Foster clear and effective communication within the team, creating an environment that encourages collaboration.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure and security, to ensure a cohesive and integrated execution of projects



Testing and Quality Assurance:

  • Testing Oversight: Lead the development and supervision of unit and integration testing to validate features and maintain code integrity.
  • Release Compliance: Ensure that each release aligns with the automated test standards defined for SailPoint environments.
  • Issue Resolution Collaboration: Actively collaborate with the test and QA teams to promptly address development-related issues, ensuring high-quality outputs.
  • UAT Support and Refinement: Provide support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and incorporate user feedback to enhance functionalities.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Thorough Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for the development process and technical solutions, ensuring they serve as valuable references for future maintenance.
  • Positive Team Environment: Cultivate a positive and inspiring team atmosphere, celebrating achievements and addressing performance issues constructively.
  • Development Improvement: Proactively enhance development practices by researching and adopting new tools, methodologies, and best practices


Essential Skill Set:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven track record as a senior developer or team lead, with extensive experience in SailPoint IAM implementations.
  • Solid understanding of identity governance, access management, and application onboarding.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and grow a team.
  • Advanced knowledge of current programming languages, CI/CD practices, and automated testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
