Finance Reporting Transformation Lead

Rate: £650 - 750 per day
Engagement Method: Inside IR35

We are seeking an experienced Finance Reporting Transformation Lead who can implement a phased roadmap of simplification and automation across the current manual reporting suite. The role will work closely with the business to identify manual reports being produced, capture underlying business requirements and design/implement improvements through transitioning to new systems and tools (within the Oracle suite)

The role holder will have experience in project managing and delivering reporting transformation projects, underpinned by a strong understanding of Finance business requirements, data strategy and Oracle IT solutions. The reporting cuts across all areas of the P&L, Capital investment projects and operational (e.g. AP/AR) reporting

Experience and skill sets

• Minimum of five years experience project managing Finance management reporting improvement programmes.
• Qualified accountant who can understand and challenge finance requirements.
• A robust understanding of P&L, Capital and Transactional finance reporting (what good looks like)
• Strong stakeholder management skills in order to manage and influence a wide range of internal stakeholders
• Experience of Oracle products (EBS, TM1, OBIEE, EPBCS)
• Strong understand of data and how to use data to genuinely design reports which enable business decisions (incorporating key KPI's)
• Self-motivated and hands on approach, with the ability to design and deliver end to end implementation plans
