Position: Cloud Security Engineer

Trust in Soda is partnering with a leading global consultancy to find skilled Cloud Security Engineers with a deep understanding of the Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical industry. This exciting opportunity allows you to leverage your cloud security expertise across various locations in Germany, playing a critical role in safeguarding sensitive data and infrastructure within the healthcare sector.

About You:

· Minimum 3-5 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud security solutions.

· Proven experience working within the Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical industry, with a strong understanding of their specific security requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GxP).

· Expertise in cloud security best practices, including access control, encryption, and identity and access management (IAM).

· Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP - preferred).

· Knowledge of security tools and technologies for cloud environments (e.g., CloudTrail, Azure Security Center, GCP Security Command Center).

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to security.

· Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and clients.

· Fluency in German (written and spoken) is essential; English proficiency is a plus.

· Collaborate with clients from various functions within Life Sciences/Pharmaceuticals to assess their cloud security posture and identify areas for improvement.

· Design and implement secure cloud architectures based on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

· Configure and manage cloud security tools to monitor and protect cloud environments.

· Respond to security incidents and implement mitigation strategies.

· Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and address potential security risks.

· Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud security threats and vulnerabilities.

· Develop and implement cloud security policies and procedures.

· Provide ongoing security awareness training and educate clients on best practices
