Job Title: Cloud Database Administrator (DBA)

Location: Fully Remote (UK&Ireland)

Salary: Up to €90k

My client is a forward-thinking organisation in the travel industry, leveraging social network capabilities to enhance the experience for travelers, particularly in the hostel market.

They are pioneering social network-powered OTA focused on the hostel market.

They are looking to grow their Site Reliability team, where you will be collaborating with Software Engineers and Data professionals, and are looking for a Cloud Database Administrator with knowledge of:

• SQL (Structured Query Language)
• NoSQL (Not Only SQL)
• Databases: MariaDB (including replication and high availability configurations) and MongoDB Query Language (MQL) for document-oriented data manipulation
• Cloud environment experience: particularly with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Scripting languages: Python
• Cloud automation tools: Terraform
• Ansible
