Your Role
Join our Application Security Tools Squad, a dynamic, agile team of security professionals across North America and Ireland. You'll be a key player in building, integrating, and maintaining cutting-edge security tools that support a large-scale developer community in building secure applications.
You’ll guide design and development decisions, lead deployments, and drive tool adoption across a diverse development ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy security tools (SAST, SCA, secret scanning) integrated with CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows.
- Evaluate and implement open-source and vendor technologies to eliminate security vulnerabilities.
- Enhance automation, test coverage, release velocity, and operational health of security tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to embed security tools seamlessly into the SDLC.
- Mentor engineers and promote secure coding practices across the organization.
- Provide expert advice on application security trends and best practices.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business goals and security objectives.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience with SAST, SCA, DAST, Pen Testing, and WAFs.
- Strong development background with Java, Python, Shell/Unix scripting, and Spring Boot.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Git, Maven, Jenkins, and AWS CloudFormation/CDK.
- Hands-on knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and pipeline automation.
- Understanding of application security architecture and secure SDLC practices.
- Proficient with RDBMS (e.g., Oracle) and data processes (ETL, ELT, modeling).
- Familiar with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Experience with front-end tech like JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, NodeJS, or React.
- AWS certification or equivalent cloud experience.
- Background in test automation and use of testing frameworks.
- Agile/Scrum team experience.
