SAP Business Analyst & Support Specialist – HIRING ASAP

Duration: 6 months (with a view to extend)
Location: Hybrid Working – Remote with travel to offices in Pfeaffikon and Biberist a few times per month
Rate: 57.48 CHF per hour

Summary:
 
Mondaine Watch Ltd. is part of Mondaine Watch Group, and this role ensures SAP R3 support for two entities in Switzerland (sales entity and factory) and one entity in China (global supply chain function).The jobholder works directly with external agencies and reports to the Head of IT, so the hob requires a high degree of independence and proactiveness. 

Must Have Skills:
 
Technical SAP Expertise (FI/SD, MM, PP)
  • Configuration: Basic customizing/configuration knowledge within core modules.
  • Data & Logic: Clear understanding of master data, transactional data, and accounting posting logic.
  • Integrations: Experience monitoring and troubleshooting interfaces, particularly EDI and ERP integrations, alongside external partners.
Testing & Quality Assurance
  • Hands-on experience with UAT, regression testing, and integration testing.
  • Proven ability to create structured test cases, manage documentation, and track defects.
  • Collaboration: Acting as the bridge between business users and technical developers during testing cycles.
End-to-End Business Process Know-How
  • Deep understanding of cross-module dependencies across core workflows: Order-to-Cash (O2C), Purchase-to-Pay (P2P), Finance (FI) Processes
Operations, Project Work & Support
  • Daily application support (error analysis and troubleshooting) using tools like Jira or ServiceNow.
  • Supporting key users, conducting training sessions, and writing process descriptions.
  • Project Delivery: Contributing to or leading smaller IT/process projects, capturing business requirements, and translating them into technical specifications.
Soft Skills & Communication
  • Analytical, data-driven approach to complex troubleshooting.
  • Strong mediation and expectation-management skills to coordinate between Business stakeholders, internal IT, and external agencies.
  • High degree of independence and structured prioritization.
  • German and English languages at business proficiency level are a must
Responsibilities:
 
Daily Support & Troubleshooting
  • First-Level SAP & EDI Support: Provide first-line troubleshooting for SAP R3 (SD, FI, MM, PP modules) and EDI interfaces across both the sales entity and the factory.
  • On-Demand Problem Solving: Resolve daily issues, handle system errors, and execute required control remediations.
Process Optimization & Automation
  • Workflow Automation: Streamline and optimize end-to-end business processes, specifically focusing on integrations like Shopify, SAP mobile, and automated invoice approvals.
  • Requirements Gathering: Translate complex business needs into clear technical specifications for system changes.
Testing & Documentation
  • Test Coordination: Plan, execute, and coordinate SAP test cycles, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression, and integration testing.
  • Jira & Issue Tracking: Maintain structured test documentation, error analysis reports, and defect tracking lists directly within Jira.
Training & Enablement
  • User Support: Train and guide key users and end-users to ensure smooth system adoption.
  • Documentation Creation: Build and maintain up-to-date training materials and standard operating process (SOP) documentation.
IT Mediation
  • Act as the primary liaison and coordinator between internal business departments, the external SAP agency, the external IT infrastructure provider, and other third-party partners.
