Senior Software Engineer - eCommerce Speciality Development

Start Date: ASAP
Location: Essex (2 days on site, 3 days WFH)
Duration: 3 months initially - likely extended
Rate: £600 per day (inside IR35)

My client, a leading automotive company, is looking for a Software Engineer to support their eCommerce Development.

Skills Required:

• Basics - git, GitHub, shell (bash or Z Shell)
• Front-end development - JavaScript/TypeScript, React
• TDD & Test Automation - Continuous integration - Jenkins/Tekton
• Comfortable with ensemble/mob/pair programming

Skills Preferred:

• Cloud experience (ideally Google Cloud Platform)
• High level of software craftmanship standards (clean code)
• Continuous integration/pipeline-driven mindset
