I am currently working with an online reservation platform who are looking to bring in an established Software Architect to drive best practices, come up with scalable designs, improve performance and play a vital part in their migration from AWS to GCP

They are a Java/Kotlin house and although no coding will be done in this role, it is important you have a good understand of the JVM ecosystem from a design point of view and that you have previously migrated monoliths to microservices.
Kafka is their go to messaging tool, GCP on the cloud along with a bunch of other up to date technologies
Humble, Hungry and Smart are some of their values and you'll be working very closely to the VP of Engineering as you and him shape the architecture of their tech applications.

This role is based in Berlin, and a hybrid working model is how they work. Somebody who wants to work 100% remotely is not going to be suitable for this role.
