Site Reliability Engineer (Kubernetes + Kafka)

I'm working exclusively with a well-known Dusseldorf based online business who are in the midst of big growth plans over the next 6 months. They're currently hiring in multiple areas but I'm focusing on their Data SRE Team.

You'll get the chance to join en experienced team of SRE's who work on systems crucial to the operation of my clients platform. They keep the lights on and are vital to the continued growth and scale of the organisation. You'll need to be experienced working in a large scale (ideally internet facing) environment with a few years experience specifically in an SRE role.

You'll be joining a team that really enjoys what they do and are passionate about building the best engineering environment they can. You'll also get the chance to avail of great educational support. The entire team are currently being helped towards their CKA.

Tech Requirements:

• Kubernetes and Helm
• Kafka
• Google Cloud Platform
• Java or Kotlin development would be a huge bonus but software engineering is not essential. Python/bash scripting is fine.
• Experience with Big Data tooling like Hadoop would also be a big plus
