Senior Project Manager - Pensions and Payroll Migration
Remote
£500 - £570 inside IR35
Initial 6 month contract
My client is looking to hire a Senior Project Manager with good pensions and Payroll Migration experience.
As Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of complex projects, from initiation through to implementation. This includes handling multiple parallel projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Projects may include internal transformations, regulatory changes, and client-driven initiatives in the pensions sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Improve and retain up to date pensions and internal systems knowledge, processes and procedures.
- Lead projects, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Maintain consistent project management processes and documentation.
- Drive team performance and ensure continuous process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Identify, report, and mitigate project risks.
Key Tasks:
- Deliver projects within agreed criteria and manage budgets.
- Lead project governance and stakeholder engagement.
- Regularly report project status and adapt methodologies as needed.
- Support team development through training and performance reviews.
Qualifications:
- Essential: Prince 2 or equivalent.
- Desirable: Six Sigma, ITIL, Agile/Scrum.
