Power Platform Developer

Start Date: ASAP - We can accommodate a reasonable notice period, 4-week notice maximum.

Contract Length: 6 months initial contract + extensions

Location: 1-2 day on-site in Dublin, the rest remote

Hours: 40H/Week

Pay: €500- €550 per day - Negotiable

I am working with a leading global consultancy that is looking for a Power Platform Developer for an

initial 6-month contract in Dublin.

Ideally, we are looking for someone that would be able to start this project as soon as possible, however, we can accommodate a reasonable notice period.

In the role of a Senior Power Platform Developer, you will assume a pivotal role in crafting, implementing, and delivering cutting-edge solutions on the Power Platform. Your close collaboration with clients to comprehend their unique business requirements and harness Power Platform technologies will lead to the creation of scalable and highly efficient solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing our clients with the tools they need to streamline operations, automate tasks, and elevate productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design: Engage in a collaborative effort with clients to collect and analyze business requirements, culminating in the design of robust Power Platform solutions.

Development: Create custom applications, workflows, and automations using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.

Integration: Seamlessly integrate Power Platform solutions with other systems and data sources, ensuring a smooth flow of information and functionality.

Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical challenges while providing ongoing support for deployed Power Platform solutions.

Quality Assurance: Conduct comprehensive testing and quality assurance to ensure solutions align with client specifications and are free of defects.

Documentation: Develop comprehensive technical documentation and training materials for both clients and internal teams.

Client Collaboration: Foster close collaboration with clients to understand their evolving needs and offer expert guidance on the capabilities of the Power Platform.

Team Leadership: Take on the role of mentor, guiding and nurturing junior developers on the team, sharing best practices, and nurturing professional growth.

Qualifications:

Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Demonstrated track record as a Power Platform Developer, substantiated by a robust portfolio of successful projects.

Exhibit advanced proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.

Proven experience with data modeling, connectors, and integrating Power Platform with other systems.

Showcase strong problem-solving abilities and a knack for effective teamwork in a collaborative environment.

Demonstrate excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., Power Platform Developer Associate) are highly desirable.
