Your next company has created software that allows objects to be detected more quickly by using AI - specifically, in a battlefield type scenario. They raised 100mil+ in their series A and have been growing at a steady rate. As such, we are looking for someone like yourself to join the Berlin office and be the go-to-person for all things IT.
Your join a globally distributed team of four, working alongside your Munich counterpart. You will be responsible for building out IT Infrastructure and managinng physical infrastructure such as Audio Visual, On-prem, Firewalls and Switches
You will be the go to person to support your colleagues with any IT based activities, whether that be setting up laptops, security and compliance. You can also be involved in managing cloud infrastructurre (AWS, Azure), managing the Microsoft 365 solutions, doing security and compliance tooling, automating as much as possible, looking at end point infrastructure, hardware, managing a fleet of user devices and securing remotely etc.
This is a role in which you will be able to own transformational projects for the business. The company is in a pretty unique position of being a very well-funded (==stability) startup (==exciting) in the defence space (==mission) which is still growing substantially despite macro condition (==stability & lots of opportunities for expansion in ownership).
The business language is English, but any German Language skills are nice to have for times you may speak to vendors! You should be someone who enjoiys problem solving and working with others, and has already managed network infrastructure

Your profile? We need some solid experience in one of the following areas:
Cloud: experience with either setting up an instance of Azure AD, owning an on-prem -> cloud migration, or deep experience with the security/compliance tooling that you get with M365 E5 licenses
Physical: researching, provisioning, installing firewall/networking/enterprise server devices
Endpoint: rolling out MDM solutions like Jamf, writing scripts to enforce corporate policies like "forbidding browser-based password sync'ing"
