Senior Finance Analyst

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 3 months - view to extend
Location: Remote (London on occasion when required)
Rate: £550 PD
Engagement Method: Outside IR35

The Senior Finance Analyst is expected to assume the following key responsibilities plus any other reasonable duties as required:

• Finance lead on GAP II.
• Own the GAP II cost & FCST tracking, including OPEX, CAPEX & Integration spend.
• Create a & run ROI tracking for the GAP II projects both financial & non-financial metrics.
• Strong understanding of OPEX versus CAPEX spend.
• Delivering requirements autonomously and under limited supervision
• Delivering high quality business commentary and presentations right first time, including excellent "story telling" skills
• Effectively dealing with ambiguity, uncertainty, and urgent time critical responses
• High resilience, ability to deal with dynamic environment and make change happen
• Build and maintain relationships with peers across finance & non finance contacts to drive cost management including use of recharges, and the underlying methodology / volumes / support KPIs.
• Build and maintain a good relationship with the SSC, supporting the design, build and execution of operational processes that deliver accurate, timely, and insightful information. Review and approve month end flash commentary, and provide high quality commentary to central management team and other stakeholders

Qualifications

• Experience of financial support to a technology organisation
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of Finance processes, systems, and ways of working.
• Recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Knowledge of dealing with acquisitions and disposals
