My client a chemical manufacturing business is looking for an experienced Senior FI Consultant to join our team.

You will be responsible for supporting the S/4HANA implementation project, migrating non-SAP systems. Your focus will be on procurement, production, and logistics processes, ensuring seamless integration and efficient migration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the S/4HANA implementation, including the migration of non-SAP systems.
• Provide expertise in procurement, production, and logistics within the chemical manufacturing industry.
• Oversee integration tests and manage follow-up phases.
• Support a team working across three locations (Hamburg, Stuttgart, and Dresden).
• Collaborate closely with a team of consultants across all modules, including CO.
• Handle remaining work setup and customisation tasks following integration testing.
• Advise key users and stakeholders on best practices.
• Prepare and manage the methodology for cutover reconciliations (including open items and balances).
• Work closely with the cutover manager, FI department, and migration team.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive experience as an FI Consultant, particularly in manufacturing or chemical industries.
• Proven track record of working with S/4HANA implementation projects and system migrations.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, production, and logistics processes.
• Experience in managing integration tests and customising solutions post-testing.
• Expertise in cutover reconciliation methodology.
• Ability to collaborate with teams across multiple locations and modules.
• Strong communication skills to advise and support key users.
