Job Title: SC Cleared Data Analyst

Duration: 6 Months

Location: 2 days a week in Portsmouth/ 3 days remote

Daily rate: £550PD - Outside IR35

Trust In Soda have partnered with an award-winning digital services agency, who need an SC Cleared Data Analyst to join a project for one of their key public sector end clients.

The successful candidate needs to hold active SC clearance to be considered for this role.

The client is working to develop an advanced Platform-as-a-Service concept that enables the loose coupling of small components (microservices) with an active community of suppliers developing capabilities

You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of Delivery Managers, DevOps engineers and developers. Day to day you will work with a Data lead to create the datasets needed to develop novel capabilities.

Indicative tasks, or opportunity to upskill, include:

Assisting in developing bespoke underwater simulation tools in order to:

Generate synthetic data

Assist in the generation of future underwater capability evidence

Wrangle, clean up and make ready underwater data sets for use in the test harness

Assisting in developing specific underwater acoustic data formats and standards in order to:

Catalogue and label underwater acoustic data sets, and timeseries

We want someone who enjoys a challenge and is keen to develop on existing knowledge and deliver quality outputs. The successful candidate must have:

Familiarity with big data, and time series data

Familiarity with data wrangling, data cataloguing/labelling, and data quality checks

Familiarity with MATLAB, or R

Ability to code in Python and/or C++
