Swift - Network Engineer (NL based)

Contract Length: 12 Months + Extensions

Location: The Netherlands - Zoeterwoude (Energieweg 33, 2382 NC Zoeterwoude, The Netherlands)

Day rate: Negotiable depending on experience

Must be able to spek English and Dutch

Definition

Expert knowledge in Cisco ACI is required to manage the migration from Catalyst to ACI

Ability to design solution, prepare and deploy in production environment with automation.

Available to work on site occasionally and sometimes during the weekend.

Professional skills

Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, electronics, or relevant field, or equivalent work experience

At least 10 years of experience in a similar position

Autonomous, empowered with the ability to adapt and respond to change

Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Willing to perform occasional weekend work & on call

Technical skills

Expert knowledge of Cisco ACI (Data Center technologies, SDN)

Good Cisco knowledge is mandatory (CCNA or CCNP certifications are an asset)

Good knowledge of network Security: MACSEC / IPSEC, RADIUS, TACACS, 802.1x, ISE

Good knowledge of Routing Protocols: EIGRP, BGP, ISIS, MPLS, VRF, VDC

Good knowledge of Switching technologies: Spanning Tree, vPC, OTV

Good knowledge of ACI-related products like Tetration, MSO, APIC is a plus

Good knowledge of Automation approaches and tools (Ansible, Terraform, VRA/VRO)

Basic knowledge of Network Monitoring & Management Systems: HP NNMi, Wireshark, Infoblox, SevOne, DHCP, DNS is a plus
