We are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to join our international consultancy. The role involves designing and implementing robust hybrid cloud solutions that optimise automation and enhance operational efficiency. In addition, you will be leading and managing a small DevOps team of four.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Setting up and maintaining development, testing, and production systems.
• Automating build and release processes, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitoring system metrics and identifying improvements.
• Developing and maintaining software applications.
• Leading and managing a DevOps team of four.

Your Experience:

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerised applications.
• Knowledge of OpenStack and Git for cloud computing and version control.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments, with a focus on Linux.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Expertise in maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Competence in Java or Python.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 4+ years managing a small team in a large organisation.
• 6+ years in enterprise architecture, with cloud services expertise.
• Proven ability to drive change and foster a DevOps culture.
• Fluent in English (C2 level); German is a plus but not required.
