Java/C++ Software Build Engineer - Hiring ASAP

My client is a highly successful software design company, that create exciting and innovative inventions and tech that no one else can match - and they're growing, fast!
They are in need of an experienced and ultra-organised Java/C++ Software Build Engineer to support a business-critical Development Solution.

Responsibilities:

• Embedded within our Agile team you will contribute to standardise our Java and C++ build, based on industry best practices and standards.
• Using your broad knowledge across engineering subject areas you will advise, identify, and help deliver successful migration of the build to Conan and Maven.
• Assist in proof-of-concept prototypes efforts related to build tools, including in the documentation of results.
• Root-cause analysis and resolve any issues with the build system.
• You may be expected to provide support to automate build, test, integration, and deployment of software codebase using DevOps, CI (Continuous Integration), CD (Continuous Deployment), and Configuration Management standard processes.

Key Skills:

• Proficient in using Java build tools, such as Maven, Ant and Gradle.
• Strong experience in building and packaging C and C++ for multiple OSes using Conan, CMake, Ninja, and make.
• Thorough knowledge of Java, C/C++, and scripting languages, such as Python and Bash. Groovy and Perl are a plus.
• Great command of version control systems and code reviews, such as Git and Subversion. Gerrit is a plus.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
