Job Title: Java Consultant

Duration: 3 Months

Location: Fully Remote - must be UK based

Daily rate: £500PD - inside IR35

Trust in SODA have partnered with a well-known brand specialising within Digital Transformation. They're looking for an experienced Java Consultant to join them on an initial 3-month contract.

About the role and what you'll be doing:

This will be a hands-on technical role as one of our Java Consultants. You will be joining a cross-functional team of highly skilled and like-minded individuals, helping to build the backend solution on one of our projects and assisting that client to realise the business benefit of an investment in the cloud. You will be working across the full project lifecycle, delivering testable technical solutions in the form of high-quality code in Java.

You will be involved in all other aspects of an agile project, from estimating to retrospectives.

You might also be involved in presenting technical topics to your team or coaching more junior colleagues, depending on project needs.

Essential Tech: Java, Kotlin - interview will consist of technical test so these two skills are essential

Non-essential: AWS, Auth2, Gitlab, Kakfa, Confluent, Spring, Springboot.
