Head of IT Service Desk
Service Desk, Leadership, ITIL, German
Burgdorf, Switzerland (2-3 days a week in the office)
€130,000 - €145,000 total compensation

My client:

They are leaders of tech within the medical industry that are changing people's lives through the products they sell.

They are not looking for a Leadership Personnel to come into the company leading a team of 13-20 people, with the main aim that customers needs are being met.

What will you be doing;

As someone with Leadership experience and expert doing Service Desk, you will be managing personnel within your team, and ensuring resource planning is done correctly so that you can allocate the right amount of budget for your team.

On top of this you will be tracking customers satisfaction and monitoring disruptions of escalation to 2nd and 3rd level. You will be the source in implementing best working practices and culture for your team. One that is solution and team oriented with people who are deicisive and not scared in making decisions.

Key Requirements:

  • Experienced in Leading a team of IT/Service Desk professionals

  • Expert within Service Desk

  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)

  • Confident working within the ITIL Framework

Nice to haves:

  • ITILv4 certification

  • Experienced working in the Medical/MedTech industry
