Role: Full Stack Developer - SC Cleared
Start: ASAP
Duration: 9 months
Rate: £515/day
IR35: OUTSIDE
SFIA: Level 5
Location: Portsmouth - 4 days per week

Trust In Soda have partnered with an award winning digital services agency, who are in need of an SC Full Stack Developer to join a Military Defence project.

You'll be working with the Data team, DevOps Engineers, and other Developers on the design and build of a database for Big Data, and a Metadata catalogue inventory of the data.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop JSON or Graph QL API layer to access data and enforce business rules and security

  • Create web-based UI to compliment JSON/Graph QL API (Metadata catalogue) to allow end users to search for data

  • Protect the database against threats or unauthorised access

  • Enable the monitoring of system performance to allow identification or iterative improvements



Experience/Skills:

  • Worked with relational databases, schemaless database and search engines (Elasticsearch)

  • Able to build JSON and Graph QL APIs using recognised frameworks (e.g. Spring Boot, Django, Fast API, and or .NET)

  • Experience building web based applications using React.js

  • JavaScript, Typescript, CSS

  • UK Government UI frameworks would be highly desirable

  • TDD/BDD testing and use of automated integration

  • Experience building and deploying applications to container based deployment platforms (Openshift, Kubernetes, etc.)

  • STRONG communication skills
