Director of Software Engineering

I'm working in partnership with a globally recognised FinTech who are looking for an experienced engineering manager to take an influential leadership role within the business.

If you're someone who loves leading but also wants to stay hands on to the tech in some capacity, this role will be right up your street.

It's a chance to be the engineering leader on one of their most innovative products. You'll be collaborating with multiple business units and given the freedom to make technical decisions on vitally important stages of the product development life cycle.

Tech Requirements:

• Over 10 years hands-on software engineering experience
• The latest part of your career spent in a hands-on technical leadership role
• Excellent knowledge of J2EE application development frameworks
• A career spent developing RESTful/event based web services using the likes of spring boot
• Experience working with tools and tech like Kafka, GIT, Maven, Docker, Jenkins, K8s
• Great knowledge of AWS cloud platforms and a wide range of AWS services
• A natural leader with strong experience building and scaling technical teams
