My client is looking for a skilled Commercial Manager with exceptional negotiation skills to join their team on a contract basis.
The successful candidate should have extensive hands-on experience leading large-scale client commercial negotiations (>$20m), with expertise in commercial and pricing models and reviewing commercial aspects within agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive financial and commercial backing to Global Client Leads (GCLs), ensuring their insights are incorporated into the budget and reforecasting processes. Clarify client performance and profitability while managing working capital challenges.
- Lead all commercial and contract discussions with global and secondary-tier international clients, acting as the primary contact for Client Procurement on designated global and international accounts.
- Growth & Performance Partnership: Collaborate with Global Client Leads to enhance growth and financial performance across global clients.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for unresolved contractual or commercial issues within the Group for assigned global and international clients, and escalate local market issues to Global Client Procurement when necessary.
- Contribute to large-scale global pitches and RFPs, collaborating with Global Client Leads, Client Service, Pricing, and Finance teams.
- Work with Legal to negotiate and implement Global MSAs, overseeing the commercial and financial aspects and obtaining input from other business areas (IT, Operations, Client Service) as needed.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience leading large-scale client commercial negotiations (>$20m), with expertise in commercial and pricing models and reviewing commercial aspects within agreements.
- Strong ability to analyse financial results, identify loss-making work, growth opportunities, and working capital issues, balancing commercial interests with risk and compliance needs to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and influencing skills with both external and internal stakeholders
