B2C Sales Advisor - Telecommunications
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6-month contract
Location: Hybrid Working out of London office
Rate: £300 per day
Engagement: Inside IR35 via Umbrella Company
Role Summary
- As part of our clients' revised strategy, they're looking to drive their residential growth both through sales within their large buildings and by re-contracting their current customers.
- They are looking for an experienced and dedicated customer focused sales advisor to join their team and contribute to both their consumer inbound sales and renewals.
- With a growing number of multi residential buildings they're looking for someone who can successfully manage inbound sales enquiries, providing details of our consumer portfolio and closing sales.
Responsibilities
- Drive field sales through site visits across our footprint of apartment buildings and connected street areas.
- Work on a set of targeted areas to grow and build our clients' reputation and drive building penetration across sales and preorders depending on building phase.
- Manage a series of outbound leads and opportunities for certain building types to grow building penetration and success.
- Provide and report on vital and detailed building and customer insight back into the business from field sales visits.
- Handle sales and renewal queries via phone, email or live chat and provide accurate and timely responses.
- Manage a pipeline of leads, opportunities and respond in a timely way on outbound calls and reach a quota of outbound calls per day/week to drive renewals and sales.
- Understand customer needs and provide the relevant responses and product recommendations based on their customer needs and pain points.
- Utilise and actively seek out new sales and renewal techniques through self-learning to improve both your product and sales knowledge to effectively move through the sales cycle and close deals.
- Contribute to team discussion on how to objection handle and share best sales practice.
- Accurately capture customer data at point of lead and sale to ensure a high standard of customer data within the business.
- Contribute actively to regular reporting and data gathering by sharing insight.
- Actively contribute and collaborate with sales and marketing discussion to ensure improved customer propositions and communications experience.
- Actively take on other mini sales related projects as needed both to learn and understand the business and to help support projects.
Key Skills
- Previous experience within a telecoms/broadband consumer environment.
- Diploma or degree qualified within relevant field.
- Proven experience within inbound sales, retention, or renewals within a consumer service business.
- Existing field sales experience
- Proficient experience within Salesforce
- Ability to manage relationships with a complex network of internal and external stakeholders.
- High attention to detail
- Ability to think quickly and respond to problems in a clear and articulate way.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally.
- Motivated, target-driven and results orientated.
