The Key Behind Thriving Fintech

It’s now widely agreed across the data and tech world that diversity, equity and inclusion can increase innovation, improve quality of work and result in higher-performing teams. Gartner (2019) forecast that 'through 2022, 75% of organizations with frontline decision-making teams reflecting a diverse and inclusive culture will exceed their financial targets, and gender-diverse and inclusive teams outperformed gender-homogeneous, less inclusive teams by 50%, on average.' Despite this common knowledge, a huge imbalance still pervades with many demographics including gender, ethnic, disability, socio-economic, age, sexual orientation, veteran and neurodiverse groups still finding themselves hugely underrepresented in the world of data.
