On 5th April, we teamed up with Equals Moneyfor our ‘Technological Innovation: The Future of Foodtech’ panel discussion.

From lab-grown meat to plant-based alternatives, and innovative approaches; such as the woolly mammoth meatball. A mega meatball which has been designed by a cultivated meat company, that can produce enough food to feed over 1,000 people. Our panel explored how to use technology such as 3D-printed food, artificial intelligence and robotics. The future of FoodTech is sure to make an impact, from reducing emissions, and moving away from conventional agriculture.

When speaking to our community about the future of FoodTech our audience and panel took into consideration, the introduction of insects, whole foods, personalisation and gaining equity in food production and supply. With special thanks to our incredible panel Frankie Fox, James Simcox, Michael Dayand host with the most, Jack Herbert!

Is 3D printing a fad or the future of food tech?
